The show hours are Monday to Saturday from 10:00am until 5:00pm

The show reception is taking place  Sunday January 18, 2026  from 1 pm to 3 pm at 65 Simcoe St.   Come to meet and celebrate BMFA’s 50 years and artists who have been touched by the BMFA.  All are welcome.

About the Show

The Journeys Art Retrospective marks the BMFA’s 50 years of championing the arts across the region and celebrates the many artists whose careers have been touched by the BMFA.

Journeys reflects how the BMFA functions as both a destination and a point where artistic paths intersect. Artists arrive, find community with like-minded individuals, go their own ways, and often return. In doing so, they become part of the BMFA story.

Across generations, these journeys contribute to a shared history shaped by discovery, growth, evolution, and continuity.

This exhibition brings that history to life while also looking to the future. The BMFA continues to support the arts through sustained involvement, shared stewardship, and an ongoing commitment to the region’s artistic community.
