Garden Pot Sculpture Workshop
May 9 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Just in time for gardening season – create a one of a kind terracotta clay pot with a face. Join Marion Bartlett, a career sculptor and gifted teacher, at her creative, entertaining and informative workshop. Each piece created by Marion’s students is uniquely individual – Marion encourages personal expression and the final results may be realistic or abstract, reflecting the participants’ interests.
Each of the sculptures created will require some time to dry before being fired at Marion’s Singhampton Studio. The sculptures will be returned to BMFA for pick up approximately 1 month after the workshop. After the sculptures are fired, they can be painted, stained or left plain before they become a feature item in your garden.
The cost of the workshop includes all materials, tools and firing.
Marion Bartlett shares studio/gallery space with her husband, woodworker Richard Bino at their property, Singhampton Sculpture Forest outside of Collingwood.
