Drawing Fundamentals

March 6, 2026 @ 10:00 am - March 27, 2026 @ 1:00 pm

Do you want to improve your drawing skills? Join Charlotte as she will help you explore and build your repertoire of mark making techniques so that you can render value, volume and form in your drawings. Learn how to use space, composition, measuring, thumbnails, and sketchbook practices to improve your observational and drawing skills. Reference materials will be provided, and sources for follow up independent study will be provided. The goal is to have some lighthearted, hands-on fun as we build on drawing skills and techniques – inspiring you to confidently carry on with a regular sketchbook practice!

Please note the dates for this 3 part series: Friday March 6, Friday March 13, and Friday March 27.

With a lifelong love of drawing complemented by an education in Art Fundamentals from Georgian College, Charlotte Sprague appreciates how satisfying solid drawing skills are, and understands that they are integral to developing an art practice.
