BMFA Photo Exhibition “Every Picture Tells a Story”
September 26th to November 4th, 2018

The BMFA Story Telling Festival is running until November 4th with “Every Picture Tells a Story” Exhibition at 65 Simcoe St.

The following events will take place from September 28th to October 19th:

1. Reel History
September 28th, 8 pm, Simcoe St. Theatre, 65 Simcoe St.

Three local short documentaries by Mountain Goat Films.  Features a historic perspective on the apple industry, ski industry and local indigenous peoples. Reception and cash bar. Craigleith Station Museum and the Institute of South Georgian Bay are partnering with BMFA to present this event.

2. 25 Years- A Young Life in Poetry and Music
October 13th, 8 pm, Simcoe St. Theatre, 65 Simcoe St.

An evening filled with poetry and music: Day Merrill, Collingwood’s poet laureate, will launch the evening’s program. David Conning will be reading from his book of dedicated poems; while talented duo Laura Conning and Nelson Beattie will be providing the musical entertainment. Reception and cash bar.

3. “Chalk Talk” An Evening with Lynn Johnston
October 19th, 8 pm, Simcoe St. Theatre, 65 Simcoe St.



Pulitzer Prize winner, Lynn Johnston of “For Better or for Worse”, internationally known cartoonist, will delight the audience with stories and cartooning. Reception and cash bar.
