Lee Anne Cohen

I learned to throw pots from my dad, Gordon Cohen, a professional potter who worked out of his studio in Salem, Ontario. I apprenticed with my dad from 1977 to 1979. Being a single mom with a two year old daughter, I decided to obtain my degree and become a teacher. Pottery waited for me! I began throwing again in 2011, with many of my dadís tools. I now happily throw and glaze cone 6, high fire functional, whimsical pots. They are all dishwasher and microwave safe. Hope to connect with you soon.
